Your organization has been given 100 used quadcopters from Amazon. Your team has been assigned the task to come up with a creative use for these quadcopters. Use one of the five creative techniques outlined in the chapter (brainstorming, synectics, nominal grouping, consensus mapping, and the Delphi technique) to generate a creative solution. Explain the technique and why you selected that technique (no wrong answer-in fact, the more variety we have the more everyone learns about each one). I look forward to your submissions and your responses to classmates using a different technique.
2) Discussion #2
Why is it important to delegate? How can you ensure delegation is successful?

3) Discussion #3
Watch these two videos:
(Note: I have no financial ties to the company mentioned in the above video. It does give you a great visualization of a dysfunctional team and ineffective meetings).
Have you ever been part of a dysfunctional team? Provide a descriiption. How did that affect the team? What key points from the assigned reading could prevent or correct the issue?

Dissertation Topic: The topic for this proposed research study is crisis management plans for small businesses. Crisis management plans pay a vital role in the survival of small businesses due to unforeseen challenges on business operations as a result of natural disasters, pandemics, and riots. A crisis plan helps small business owners to mentally handle a crisis and solve problems that are outside the parameters of normal operating business procedures (Lukas et al., 2020). A crisis management plan is a guide for business owners to assist in taking appropriate preventative actions to mitigate organizational failures, accidents, and interruptions (Doern, 2016). Additionally, a crisis management plan is most commonly referred to when a business is dealing with the following: economic disaster, pandemic, accident, death, natural disasters, and external threats (Herbane, 2013).

Module 6 Discussion: How Will the Smiths Manage?
What’s Going On?
The Smith family has a very successful family tea shop that also provides wireless Internet access and live entertainment. They believe that there is a great deal of growth opportunity in such tea shops and plan to eventually expand, perhaps even franchise.
In the Module 4 Discussion, as their business advisor, you recommended that they should structure their business either as an LLC or as a corporation. Now that that has been accomplished and they have chosen a business form (whichever form they chose doesn’t matter for this discussion), the Smith’s have decided to franchise their business concept which you assisted them with in the Module 5 Discussion.
Now they have decided to hire a project manager to head up their franchise selection process and have come back to you for advice as to what they might look for in a manager. Your advice to them is that a manager should be someone who will move the company in a direction that is consistent with the company’s aims and values. In other words what are the company’s goals? “Goals? They ask. What goals?” You immediately recognize that before they can find a manager the company needs a mission statement that will be the formal summary of the aims and values of the company.
Initial Discussion Post
Draft a proposed mission statement for the Smith’s company.
A good mission statement says who you are, what you do, what you stand for, and why you do it. Mission statements are hard to write. It is easy to get too wordy. The best of them tell the story and ideals of the organization in three to five sentences.
Before you begin writing you should review this article: “How To Write A Mission Statement.”
Consider including some or all of the following:
What is the target consumer demographic?
What products and services are offered?
What is the moral/ethical position of the store? What are its values?
How much and in what ways does the store plan to grow?
