In this
individual final assignment, you are expected to develop a detailed project
management plan. This will involve you defining the health issue, proposing a
feasible solution and preparing a project management plan including all phases
of the project management lifecycle (i.e. project initiating, planning,
executing, monitoring, controlling and closing).
This assignment comprises 50% of your total mark for Public Health Leadership and Management
subject and you are encouraged to bring your leadership and project management skills together to
respond to this task.
Assignment topic
For your final assignment, please select ONE
of the three
case study scenarios outlined at the end
of this document. Please note that each has a different funding body (either
Commonwealth Department of Health, Victorian
Department of Health and Human Services and United Nations Population Fund). THE TOPIC SELECTED WAS SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH IN MALAWI
All cases have been funded
to design an initial 2-year
project with a budget indicated
in each case study.

Colson Whitehead’s book is a work of fiction in a genre called magical realism. This means that it is a based on real life and events, with elements of magic included in the story. Having read The Underground Railroad and having spent the last few weeks learning about American slavery from your textbook and in class, answer the following questions in a three- to four-page essay. As you evaluate whether you think reading historical fiction is a good way (or not) to learn about the past, you should define what “good” means to you. Does it mean to give you fuller knowledge of an era, to be drawn to the protagonist’s side of events, to help you perform better in a history class?
