Based on your researched literature review, you will evaluate further the extent of the problem related to your research topic. Choose which educational tool would be appropriate to address your research problem to an audience either by presenting a training (train) or webinar (inform). You will consider the topic issue, the purpose, and the target audience to illuminate. Designing a training or webinar is like mapping out a road trip or creating a journey.

Once you have determined which method you will present, submit your proposal for this presentation to address some questions accordingly.

To do this, you will start by considering the information you plan to cover in your presentation.

Be sure to consider the following questions as you develop your outline:

Indicate the purpose of the presentation.
Identify your target audience and provide rationalization of this selection (how it fits the problem and purpose; consider if there are any inclusion or exclusion criteria; and if they do exist, determine why they exist).
Identify the need/issue/gap.
Address how developing a training or webinar on the issue can satisfy this need/issue/gap.
Determine how the response to this issue will affect the design of the webinar or training activities and content exploration strategies.
Identify the outcomes expected from the presentation.
To train others to be trainers? (Capacity building)
To train/educate agencies or organizations on an emerging trend (assessments, tools, laws, change practices, EBP, etc.) or issue?
To add to the body of prospectus around a certain subset of the issue?
Other reasons?
Identify potential implications of your presentation for the audience and other systems involved (value and need for this presentation).
Then, you will create a comprehensive outline that you will use to develop your final presentation. Provide enough detail that a reader may discern the overall ideas your presentation will address. Answer the following questions to complete this assignment:

General theme and subthemes: What knowledge and skill areas will be the focus of the training or webinar?
Goals and objectives: What do you want participants to learn during the training or webinar? What will they leave knowing more about, or what new skills will they have acquired?
Essential questions: What central questions should participants answer as the training or webinar unfolds?
Summary of participant activities (this is more typical/applicable to training): How will participants accomplish training objectives and answer the questions in numbers 2 and 3 above? (e.g., small group discussions and projects, lectures, role-playing)
Resources: What resources might you use to help participants accomplish the training or webinar objectives? (e.g., current research, discussions, encouragement)
Assessment activities: How will others determine if participants a) have reached curriculum objectives identified in number 2 above, and b) can answer the questions in number 3?

Length: 2-3 pages, not including title and reference pages

References: Include a minimum of 10 scholarly resources.

Subject: Job?

Hey Bob, We talked a couple weeks back at the chamber of commerce event. (I was the one looking for a summer internship and had a zit on my lip that could have passed for a cold soar. Lol. Whew. It was not. You’re probably like, “uh.. What?” Maybe that helps you recall, maybe not. Not completely important, I suppose.
I’d really like to come work for you at your IT business. You seemed like a cool person to work for, I liked ur striped pants. I’m available to start working on Monday, but I am taking my driver’s test in June and have to study and go an hour and half away to take it at an easier place cause I’m not a great driver so I’ll miss a few days. I am also going to the beach with friends for a week in July. Oh, and my grandmother has bad gas (OMG IT’S TERRIBLE) and sometimes I have to take her to the doctor.
I’ve attached my resume, it’s the bomb dot com. Let me know if you have a job opening for me. I can’t wait to play on some computers. If I don’t respond to your email, I’m always on FB, snapchat or insta!

Peace out,
Gabrielle Mendes

Scholarly Criticism Analysis Assignment Sheet

Assignment in Brief: For this assignment, each student will select, summarize, and analyze a peer-reviewed journal article that analyzes one of the texts assigned for the course. The objective for this assignment is to analyze and understand how literary critics write about literature professionally. Your paper (1500 words) should attune both to the article’s larger argument and structure and to its details, offering both a summary and an analysis and evaluation, one that considers the article’s thesis, its use of evidence, its shortcomings, its organization, and its methodology.

Parameters:

Be sure to select a peer-reviewed journal article from the list below.
Your paper should be balanced between demonstrating an understanding of the article’s argument and structure (summary) and an analysis of what makes the article work or fail, in part or in whole (analysis and evaluative).
Structure: Your paper should have a header that distinguishes “Summary” and another header that distinguishes “Analysis and Evaluation.” Each section should be roughly half of the paper’s length.
Your paper should have in-text citations and a works cited page.
Final Product: The final product should ultimately demonstrate your ability to read, understand, analyze, and evaluate a piece of professional literary criticism.

Paper Rubric: Aside from the length requirement, this paper will be graded on the following criteria: 1) content, including the proper selection of an article, the clarity and logic of your own summary of the article, the quality and clarity of the analysis and evaluation of the article, and the balance between the summation and evaluation; 2) organization, including the presence and clarity of each of the two sections, organized into coherent paragraphs with topic sentences, evidence, and development; 3) documentation, including signal phrases, in-text citations, and a works cited page; and 4) grammar and mechanics.
