English Question

Pick a movie, TV show, or book you enjoy and summarize it. Make sure it’s something you’re familiar with!
Feel free to read/watch it again to refresh your memory.
The essay must be anywhere from 2 to 4 pages long.
Please use MLA 9 format (should be double-spaced with heading, use Purdue Owl if you need help)
You don’t have to use additional sources, but if you do, cite your work and have a works cited page
It should have an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion
Instead of a thesis, you should have an introductory statement – use this to introduce what your essay is going to be about. Remember that you’re not trying to prove a point, just summarize!
Be sure to remember the following guidelines to write an effective summary:1. It should express the same meaning as the original2. It should only include the most important information3. The word choices/diction should be different (use your own words)4. The sentence structures should be different (this will be easy if you use a movie or TV show)5. It must be shorter than the original (otherwise, we can just watch/read the original work)
