Health Policy Paper:
There is no doubt in anyone’s mind, that although COVID-19 is a global issue, it has affected the United States of America more than any industrialized country in the world. With close to 6 million infections and currently close to 175,000 COVID-19 deaths, it is clear that United States was not prepared to handle such a pandemic. The expectation has been that because of existing health policies, such a pandemic would easily be prevented or controlled. So what went wrong? Review any of key legislations and discuss why it couldn’t effectively address the pandemic. Suggest what revisions ought to be in place to deal with the present and potential future pandemics.
You are required to write a 6-7 double-spaced paper excluding the title and reference pages on a health policy issue relating current health policy issues/challenges on ANY of the following major U.S healthcare legislations and relate to COVID-19.
(A) Medicaid. What are the current issues with Medicaid and how can they be resolved (select a few). Discuss Children’s Health Insurance Program in at least two states of your choice. What is the key difference in the two states in terms of dollars spent and health outcome of children in the states?
(B) Medicare: Several issues confront Medicare that cause several controversies. Select issues of your interest to develop a policy proposal.
(C) the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), (D)Emergency Medical Treatment

Assessment Description
In collaboration with the approved course preceptor, students will identify a specific evidence-based topic for the capstone project change proposal. Students should consider the clinical environment in which they are currently employed or have recently worked. The capstone project topic can be a clinical practice problem, an organizational issue, a leadership or quality improvement initiative, or an unmet educational need specific to a patient population or community. The student may also choose to work with an interprofessional collaborative team.
Students should select a topic that aligns to their area of interest as well as the clinical practice setting in which practice hours are completed.
Write a 500-750 word description of your proposed capstone project topic. Include the following:
The problem or issue, intervention, quality initiative, educational need, or collaborative interprofessional team project that will be the focus of the change proposal.
The setting or context in which the problem or issue, intervention, quality initiative, educational need, or collaborative interprofessional team project can be observed.
A description (providing a high level of detail) regarding the problem or issue, intervention, quality initiative, educational need, or collaborative interprofessional team project.
Effect of the problem or issue, intervention, quality initiative, educational need, or collaborative interprofessional team project.
Significance of the topic and its implications for nursing practice.
A proposed solution to the identified project topic with an explanation of how it will affect nursing practice.
You are required to cite to a minimum of eight peer-reviewed sources to complete this assignment. Sources must be published within the last 5 years, appropriate for the assignment criteria, and relevant to nursing practice. Plan your time accordingly to complete this assignment.

Post a picture of a cultural symbol or material object (e.g., a shop, a store, a banner, a corner, a mural, a bar, a wall, etc.) that is relevant in that neighborhood – preferably this is a picture you yourself took with your own phone or camera; describe the symbol or object illustrated in the picture you took.
Explain how the cultural symbol or material object you photographed fosters a sense of community in that neighborhood and specify which social groups are expressed by that symbol or objects

A person is running up and down a straight hallway. The person’s position, s, is described in terms of t time. The function that describes the position is a fifth order polynomial. Find a function that determines the instantaneous velocity and acceleration. Determine the points at which the person is stationary.
CRJ Discussion
Considering critiques of human rights by cultural relativists and feminists, do you believe human rights are universal?
What critiques do you find most convincing and why?
Do you think universalists can respond adequately to these critiques? Also, consider the disjuncture between human rights theory and practice, what does this disjuncture means (if anything) for universalists?

experimental summary
Lab
We changed the heat shock to 30 seconds instead of 90 seconds.
It didn’t work because we didn’t see any colonies on the plates.
LB- one lawn plus 17 colonies
LB 8 colonies
LB/AMP no colonies
LB/AMP- no colonies
Hypothesis: reducing the heat shock time from 90 seconds to 30 seconds will produce more ecoli and all plates will have more growth.
Null hypothesis: reducing the heat shock time from 90 seconds to 30 seconds will produce less ecoli and all plates will have no growth.
Hypothesis was wrong since no ecoli was produced on LB/AMP and LB/AMP-, which means that reducing the heat shock time does not work.

Watch and read the information at the link above.
Our textbook editor noted that it is easier to prosecute sexual assault cases where the victim does not know the perpetrator. In cases of acquaintance rape, the issues are different and the process is harder. Take for instance the story in the link above about the UNC football player accused of sexual assault. Consider the issues raised in the chapter and discuss the potential emotional and psychological trauma for the victim. What about the perpetrator? Is there social stigma or emotional trauma for the alleged perpetrator? Consider these questions also in light of the rape allegation against Nate Parker in 1999. Read and watch here. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2016/aug/12/nate-parker-birth-of-a-nation-film-college-rape-trial
