Othello Act 1 Study Questions
Othello: Study QuestionsAct I How does the way Shakespeare begins the play immediately involve the audience?Immediately at the start of the play, there seems to be an argument between Iago and Roderigo. Roderigo seems to be mad at Iago, and Iago defends himself, saying that they are on the same side and they both hate the same man. This is like the audience eavesdropping on some gossip, which makes the audience want to know more. What imagery does Iago use to describe Othello and Desdemona’s elopement, and what conflict does that imagery develop?Iago uses emotional imagery, saying that Brabantio’s daughter has been robbed from him, that his heart is going to break, that he’s lost half of his soul, because at that very moment, an “old black ram” is having sex with his daughter. He uses these phrases to anger Brabantio, and it later causes conflict between Brabantio and Othello because Brabantio is furious that his daughter is married to Othello. How does Iago enlist the aid and the trust of Roderigo in the first scene?Iago says that they are on the same side: they both hate Othello, just for different reasons. Iago knows that Roderigo loves Desdemona, and hates Othello for marrying her, so he uses this to get him to work with him on plotting against Othello. What impending crisis do the duke and his senators face at the beginning of Scene 3?The Duke is getting reports that a Turkish fleet is approaching Cyprus, but first they have stopped at Rhodes and joined forces with another fleet, probably to attack and take over Cyprus. Why is Brabantio’s suit against Othello balked? It was balked because Othello explained that their love was real, not some result of witchcraft or magic. Othello says that Desdemona loves him for his history in battle and she is sympathetic for his tragic stories, and he loves her for her beauty, affection and emotions. How does Brabantio seem to feel about Othello?Brabantio seems to detest Othello greatly, because he is very reluctant and cannot believe that his daughter chose to marry Othello of all people. His opinion of Othello seems to be solely based on the fact that he is a black man, so clearly Brabantio is racist towards Othello. How does Othello defend himself against Brabantio’s charges of witchcraft?Othello defended himself by stating that Desdemona loved him for his tragic past and his fascinating stories. Othello also suggests bringing in Desdemona to prove that their love is true, not some sort of evil spell. What kind of impression does Desdemona create in the third scene of the play? The impression that Desdemona gives is kind-hearted and good-natured because although she loves Othello, she is very conflicted because she knows it will not please her father. She also seems to be noble and of a high status, as well as loyal to Othello.

The Hershey Company: Marketing
The Hershey Company, founded by Milton S. Hershey (1857-1945), was built in Derry Church, Pennsylvania, in 1903 (The Hershey Company Web Site, n.d.). The community, made famous by The Hershey Company, was later renamed as Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company has become the largest North American manufacturer of quality chocolate products, which include a variety of candy bars, drink mixes, and baking ingredients and today is the leading North American manufacturer of chocolate and non-chocolate confectionery and grocery products. The company is well known for the candy brands such as Hersheys Kisses, Reeses peanut butter cups, Swizzles licorice, Mounds, York Peppermint Patty, and Kit Kat (licensed from Nestlé); and the grocery goods such as baking chocolate, ice-cream toppings, chocolate syrup, cocoa mix, cookies, snack nuts, hard candies, lollipops, and peanut butter(The Hershey Company Web Site, n.d.). Hersheys products are known and enjoyed the world over, by all age groups. The Hershey Company remains committed to the vision and values of the man who started it all so many years ago (The Hershey Company Web Site, n.d.).
Milton Hershey, believing that quality of his milk chocolate products, would speak for itself, refused to advertise. The company continued his policy, even after his death in 1945. Then, in 1970, facing a sluggish candy market and a diet-conscious public, the company relented (Hoovers, 2009)”.
Today the Hershey Company advertises to different age groups in many different ways(site your source! ). Television commercials attract children 12 and under, commercials and print ads focus on seniors, sponsorships focuses on teens and young adults, and promotions inside wrappers for all age groups.
Hershey began airing a television commercial that marks the beginning of its “Pure Hersheys” campaign (Beirne, 2008). This campaign is associating the candy makers chocolate with feelings of happiness, innocence and simplicity, and will serve as an umbrella campaign for the companys other top brands (Beirne, 2008).. Although the main target will be the 18 to 34 year-old group, these commercials will reach out to the young, teens, and seniors using the same methods (Beirne, 2008). The advertising firm, Arnold NYC, Chief Creative Officer, John Staffen, says “The campaign tries to play up to the emotional ingredients that go into a Hershey bar. Their focus, will rely on core brands in this venture” (Beirne, 2008).” Yet another commercial, targeting the older chocolate lovers, portrays Bar None. This campaign focuses on the ingredients of what Bar None has and what others in this category do not have, and also includes an ad for the Cookies n Mint bar, which features guitar-playing senior citizens (Warner, 1993).
David West, Hershey CEO, said a decline in the sale of Kisses would not be acceptable and the core brand most likely to be used for “Project Runway” will be Hersheys Kisses(Goetzl, 2009). The life story of the Hersheys Kisses began in 1907. The “plume” that extends from the wrapper was trademarked in 1924. Between the years 1942 and 1949 no Kisses were produced because of foil rationing during and after World War II. To honor Valentines Day, red and silver foil was introduced in 1986. In 1990, the company introduced a new twist to Kisses: a Kiss with almonds. The Kisses tried out “healthy” dark chocolate in 2003. The year 2007 brought forth the century mark for Hersheys Kisses (Doup, 2007). Although the magazine promotion ads will focus on teens, young adults and seniors, the Hershey Company has laid out detailed guidelines for the places, it will not advertise in their “Project Runway” integration. Included are shows and publications that offer “graphic and unnecessary violence” and “sensationalism involving delicate and controversial social subjects” (Goetzl, 2009).
In sponsorship advertising, The Hershey Company is using various celebrities to promote some of its products. One such celebrity is Tony Hawk, skateboarder, who will participate in television commercials. These celebrity commercials will help promote the Hersheys Milk and Milkshakes to children and youth (Thompson, 2003). The idea is, when children and youth see Tony drinking a Hershey Milkshake, they will be influenced into trying the product themselves.. Another celebrity working with Hersheys on the new campaign is country music artist, Brad Paisley. This partnership will also help Paisley, who has appeared on core brand wrappers in the past, promote his new album, “5th Gear.” The theme for the “Smores” advertisement campaign is summertime and campfires, which will promote family fun for all age groups, and will star the Hersheys chocolate bar (Paoletta, 2007). Hershey is also teaming up with the Latin singer and actress Thalia Sodi, which will be the centerpiece for Hispanic marketing efforts and will unveil a new line of Latin- inspired candies (Staff Report, 2004).
Another sponsorship deal is a corporate partnership with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and will have marketing and promotional rights to the Final Four and other NCAA marks, including sports fans of all ages (Smith, 2008). The Hershey Company is introducing several promotions for 2009 inside candy bar wrappers (Smith, 2008). The NCAA promotion will display the NCAA logo on the outside of the wrapper and includes the Almond Joy, Hershey Bar, KitKat, PayDay, and Reeses candy bars. Each wrapper will include a game piece inside (Smith, 2008). The grand prize for this promotion is a trip to the 2010 Final Four games. The company has also provided an online chart for the consumers who purchase the product to track their game pieces (The Hershey Company Web Site, n.d., “Promotions”). Another promotion is the “Reeses Racing” campaign. Hersheys will again use their core brand candy bars directed toward NASCAR, The Olympics and the Batman movie. It is hoped that this campaign will target the young male population. The grand prize for the “Reeses Racing” campaign is a trip to Charlotte, North Carolina to watch the race (The Hershey Company Web Site, n.d., “Promotions”). Hersheys hopes the Smores campaign will entice the younger females with memories of Girl Scout and family gatherings (Dochat, 2008).
Hershey has also teamed up with the Young Survival Coalition to help them raise money in efforts to educate who about Breast Cancer. The core brand candy bars used for this campaign will be the Hershey Kisses, Nuggets, Reeses, and Syrup which will each display the pink ribbon logo. When these products

Othello CaseOthelloRoderigo’s View/Attitude on Othello’s MarriageI, Roderigo, can’t believe that she married that man! The one they call Othello. The Moor. What does he have that I don’t? I’m rich and I’m young!! Am I not desirable?! I will be the one to admit it…. I am desperate for Desdemona’s hand in marriage. He is not deserving of her. She is too magnificent, too fair, too lovely and too wonderful. And yet she chose him. Just the thought of knowing that she chose him, HIM, over me makes one sick to the stomach and weak to the knees. I loved her for so long and now my heart feels betrayed. I will do anything for her hand. I will kill myself and die a thousand deaths, if it means that the lovely Desdemona will no longer be married to the Moor.
PREFACE
The Desdemona is a small, low-looking, white, half-naked woman with curly green hair that ends in her head over a tanned moustache made from a variety of dark blue hairs. She also has three small, yellow, black, and brown eye-pieces. Desdemona was the wife of her husband, King Richard I who was king until the Norman Conquest, the period in which she is now considered to be the most powerful person in Scotland.
Her husband and sons, Richard the Duke of Norfolk and Prince Edward of York, also succeeded her, and her first husband of the Duke of York to the present King of Scotland. In the 1715 Act, William the Conqueror set up the county of Aberdeen in England, and gave it the title of the First Scottish Kingdom. These decisions and actions gave birth to the First Scottish Nationalist Party (which later became called the Scottish Nationalist Party) and made it the party to which Scottish nationalists had been given title. The First Nationalists also made it the party to which Norman Protestants, led by Norman Earl Daphne of Nottingham, were to be given the title of First Scottish Nationalist in 1725. Their leaders, Robert the Bruce and Edwin the Unkempt were Scottish nationalists who sought to establish the territory in which they had ruled for thirty years. While the Tories have maintained a policy of territorial control in Scotland since the First Scottish Nationalists began their rule in the 1860s, Scottish Nationalists were not given much latitude in creating their own territory in England by choosing which territorial controls to continue existing. Although the first Scottish Nationalist parties became successful in winning the election to the Queen’s seat in the 1560s, many more Scottish nationalists joined the Tories, including the second leader of the SNP, Richard of Argyll and the former president of the Council of Twelve. As a result, in spite of continuing to hold the political position of First Scottish Nationalist leader, Gordon Brown, and by his intervention in the referendum in 1992, Scottish nationalists have been successful in defeating the Conservatives for the first time in history.
Desdemona, of course, is not the first female to make a name for herself publicly in the UK before this.
Hollywood actress Barbara Streisand is also the first celebrity or politician to make a name for herself publicly on the front page of American newspapers or television in the course of her career. In her book, How To Survive a Hollywood Romance: A Guide For The Making Successful Couples (2016), Streisand tells the story of how she first met with her first boyfriend, a white man, at a motel in Atlanta, Georgia,
I am even considering taking up Iago’s offer and helping him kill Cassio, as he seems to have befriended the fair Desdemona. I believe that Iago will help me to achieve my goal. I believe in him; giving him all my money to ensure that Desdemona is with the right man. Me! And only me! Oh how I lust for the sweet nectar of her lips; the warm feel of her skin, but now some other wretched man is smelling the perfume of what should be my delicate flower; engulfing themselves with the womanly heat of my ray of sunshine. Oh how it angers me to know that what should be rightfully mine is in the hands of another. The Moor! I’ll kill him! He has taken my only chance at happiness and is enjoying himself in his sheets. Desdemona, you shall soon be mine!

Race in My CommunityEssay title: Race in My CommunityLegalized MarijuanaAnalyzing SourcesJoshua S. WattAxia CollegeCRT 205 Critical ThinkingInstructor Jeremiah NelsonDecember 10, 2006Legalized MarijuanaThere does not seem to be any issues with my chosen hypothesis, “If the government legalizes marijuana, they can reduce the crime and violence associated with the sale of marijuana.” I believe my position can be argued effectively, there are plenty of documented incidents. There are several issues with the legalization of any drug, both economical and social. I will save those for my paper, the main point I want to make here is that our government looks very hypocritical when they keep drugs like nicotine and alcohol legal. How can our society tolerate the use of these substances and then turn its nose up at marijuana? We have become a society that does not question our government, we think why would they do any wrong.
In regards to the topic of the prohibition of marijuana, many have asked in many posts and blogs for clarification. On our most recent post on a similar subject, we noted that there are other options by which to go about the legalization of any drug that would make us think, I agree this one is quite strong. However, the current debate and current legalization of any drug have really changed the legal landscape here in America. The people are doing something that they never thought they would do that should be debated or taken seriously. We do not think what is happening here will change anything, whether the drug will affect people, and I am sure we see those issues in other places. Let me offer a few thoughts about this topic. Let me note that:
(i) We have legalize marijuana.
(ii) The laws have not changed.
(iii) Marijuana is for medical applications.
(iv) The police have not changed their stance.
(v) The prohibition still in place.
What is our argument?
We feel that there is no problem as long as it has less money. Why does it matter? I have shown this to many and I think it is probably due to the fact that I am conservative when it comes to government policy and the laws. There can be nothing bad about an issue that has no practical effect, it just goes to show that our government policy is not as important as they want us to believe. This sentiment was reinforced in a number of posts and blog posts during our research about this issue, I think that a significant part of what you see is people’s political differences in our society. Many of them believe they can do this to themselves. However, this ideology does not work for everyone, or for anyone. In certain situations, this is just the result of people’s preferences and ideas being rejected or ignored.
You may have heard some political science that is not applicable to this issue. If you agree that one cannot have a “natural” level difference in political beliefs, then this is really not as relevant. However, that opinion may actually apply to everyone regardless of any given political decision that they can make. It may even suggest the same things if you think the difference has a biological value. It is hard to know for sure if you need this as it may not be there. If anyone was to predict one way or the other from their data, it would be an impossible scenario and it is much more difficult for us to predict from my research. We are simply asking people to do research on it that is relevant to their feelings, it does not matter to anyone to do so. However, if you want to know exactly what you would find in this study about the effects of the political beliefs held by some people under different circumstances, please consider this blog post:
The current state of medicine in the United States is changing rapidly. According to the Federal Government Department of Health and Human Services, there are no health care facilities that are not supported by the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
This changes your perspective at least a little. There are approximately 3.000 pharmacies operating in the U.S. and 3,000 health care institutions.
There were a series of recent studies showing that the most common reasons people were unable to obtain access to health care facilities have been inhumane treatment or lack thereof, and it has been shown by the many studies that these actions are causing serious health problems. In the cases of the 1 in 4 men with coronary artery disease, this is the main cause of death.
The lack of adequate screening of patients is making it difficult for
The argument I am posing focuses on the social impacts of legalized marijuana, this argument could really apply to almost any drug. Why is it that nobody seems to remember prohibition? Our country has been through the process of outlawing a widely used substance before; the crime was out of control and illegal activities increased. As a country we are seeing this now, how much more do we have to endure before we just legalize the substances that cause all of this crime and punishment.

Othello Imagery of Heaven and Hell
Shadrach OgbomoMs. Boyce ENG3U1-03Friday, October 27th, 2017Othello: Imagery of Heaven and HellThe imagery of heaven and hell in Shakespeare play Othello is predominant. The use of heaven and hell imagery is significant in conveying meaning to help establish the purpose for the use of heaven and hell imagery and to reinforce the fight between good and evil. The use of heaven and hell imagery shows emphasis on how the actions one chooses to take depict the person they are. The Imagery of heaven is suggested to be a good place to be or a source of help and comfort for those who chose to call on it. Heaven imagery shows the life that most Elizabethans tried to live by. The imagery of hell in the play shows a lifestyle that is not healthy or beneficial. Those that are upset towards certain conditions use hell imagery; they behave in a hellish manner. Desdemona displays the imagery of heaven; she puts on heavenly manners that she can be referred to as a Mother Mary. Iago, on the other hand, is a person who is a wolf in sheep clothing, he comes as a good person but the intent of his heart is wicked. Othello is a different case from the two; he is between the fight of his instincts whether to choose good or evil. Images of heaven show the life we strive to reach, images of hell depict the forces that keep us from reaching the life that we long for in the end. That suggests that we must try to trust our instincts and strive to do good to create a healthy life.
The imagery of heaven is used to show the life that majority of the people enjoy to live by to be able to achieve a healthy and good life. That even at the point of death you will leave the earth with a happy heart. Living a heavenly lifestyle is not easy to reach. Your faith may be tempted and tested, but you need to take strong hold to your beliefs. “By heaven, you do me wrong // No as I am Christian/ If to preserve this vessel for my lord/From any other foul unlawful touch.” 4.2.81-85. Desdemona is clear when she says that she is a Christian and that her body is preserved for her husband only. She is demonstrating the lifestyle of a person with a knowledge of the bible that commenting adultery is found as a great sin. She stays firm in her beliefs even though Othello her husband is testing and trying her, she stands strong in her belief that preserving yourself for your spouse is right. The imagery of heaven also shows that in order to live a healthy life, you must know that a heaven is a place of purity, forgiveness, and a place to intercede on behalf of others regardless of what they have done to you. “Heaven keep the monsters from Othello’s Mind.” 3.4.55. Calling on heaven can bring a sense of comfort knowing that you’ve done what you can. Othello has been treating Desdemona his new wife wrongly, but Desdemona still looks at Othello as her husband and can sense that Othello’s mine set is not in its place of origin. She has tried to talk to him but notices that she cannot reach to Othello herself, so she calls on higher powers to help speak with Othello to return him to his normal self. Desdemona can now be at rest knowing that her help is coming from above. Heaven is a place for those who try to seek the truth and they must be truthful themselves. “This look of thine will hurl my soul from heaven/And fiends will snatch it.” 5.2.288-289. Othello has just found out that Desdemona is innocent and faultless; he is also aware that his actions have caused him to fall from his race to achieving a healthy life. He is now seeking for forgiveness because the choice that had no evidential proof. It is now that Othello sees that what he has done is a hellish action. He did not only ruin his heavenly race toward a godly lifestyle, but he lost his wife as well and his supposed final destination is hell, where he will be torn into pieces. The Imagery of heaven shows that it is a way of life that is tried the most. It is a journey for the strong in mind, heart, and action.

The Hanging of the Mouse
Elizabeth Bishop is trying to show how moral lessons were taught I believe. She did this by using animals instead of people. The guilty mouse on his way too his execution while the other animals watched show how people would stand and watch executions back in the old days. Each animal had their assignment during the story. My favorite was the Praying Mantis, who was in charge of the Religious ceremonies. The raccoon was the executioner and he even wore a black mask, his young son was involved in this process as well. Animals watched just as people would and they enjoyed it. Elizabeth talks about how some of the animals did not even go to bed the night before. When there is an execution scheduled in todays society people will stand outside the prison all night. I can see myself back in the Western era watching from the crowd as the gallows come down and the hanging begins. If the mouse or man is guilty then hang them, all these crimes would stop in our society. When public execution was taking place there was not a lot of crime. The justice system worked back then. The justice system is a joke today in our time. Like in the story when the bullfrog came in to deliver the sentence none of the animals could understand what he said, {But his voice was impressive enough to awe the crowd into polite attention. It was a deep bass: “Glug! Glug! Berr-up!” No one could understand a word of the mouses death sentence}. I think she is trying to show how moral lessons were taught in the Western era and are still taught today with the executions in the prisons. The prisons still have executions to date and people not animals line the parking lots with cameras, lights and signs. People supporting the death sentence and some opposing the death sentence but never the less people still want to watch. At first I thought Elizabeth was writing for a piece for children then I continued to read on. I dont believe I would let my children read this material. The graphic violence in this piece of work is not appropriate for children. The part where the cat brings her small kitten to the execution and she sheds large tears and the tears rolled down the childs back was way too much for a small child to see, When the mouse began to squeak was not something for a child to hear nor would the sounds of an electric chair or the sight of a lethal injection. I had to reread the story three times to make sure this was not made for children. I thought surely that this was not written for children at first, and then I read it again and knew. I reread it a

Othello in Shakespeare Lay and Andrew Davies Film
Student’s Name:Course:Tutor:Date: Othello in Shakespeare lay and Andrew Davies FilmThe Andrew Davies’ film, Othello, released in the year 2001 has shown a successful transformation of the tragic play written by Shakespeare, Othello, which was initially performed in 1604. It follows the actions of the renowned General Othello in the process of drawing his love for Desdemona, his wife, and watches it changing into jealousy because Iago misleads him to be confident of that she has an affair Michael Cassia (Daalder 71). However, such manipulations resulted in Othello suffocating his lovely life following the rage and jealousy he had. Committing suicide after noticing that he had been duped was the next step that he took.Such is a similarity as the Davies follows the influential Ben Jago’s plans to ensure that the law enforcement officers’ commissioner, John Othello, considers Dessie, his wife, to be having an intimate relationship with the police officer, Michael Cass. Such a suspicion that is planted by John leads to him murdering his wife as well as committing suicide based on his jealousy, leaving the post of police Commissioner empty and Jago is promoted. Davies manipulates this story by ensuring that the main characters, sections of the plot as well as the main ideas result in a new meaning for the audience, by his illustrations regarding the adjustments of the values with the change of the situation.
For him to appeal to the contemporary audience, Davies mirrors the values of England in the 21st century. Such play dramatic change would have garnered more audience by compelling and exciting the audience in the Shakespeare’s time in the circumstance of the Jacobean era. The film by Davies similarly entertains his audience. Moreover, he is prone to ensure that his viewers or audience think about the issues presented by the characters in the play (Davies 92). The movie illustrates the way individual’s values have varied in some way from the Shakespearean period. Most of the people currently are still prejudiced as well as offensive to other ones of the different races. Besides, the patriarchal societal persons commit lawless deeds whereas the legal framework attempts to make the same society to be in order. Davies sets his video or film transformation in London, and it begins with a race riot that indicates that racism remains a vital issue in the current society. Moreover, his film highpoints and concentrates on the racial tensions, because of it being an issue that many people concentrate and associate with it. Nonetheless, my view regarding this change is that it relays the first play. There is no more capturing and moving since one can associate intensely to it, because of the way the modern society is run and organized (“Jacobean Era Othello”). The film by Davies is a fruitful transformation regarding the theme of conflicts compared to the order that is explored in the community, which is corresponding to the main text because the setting is still that of a patriarchal community. Nations such as Australia are seen to be a civilized nation because of a well-established system of government following the laws and regulations stipulation in the country’s Constitution.
Katniss Everdeen And Hunger Games research essay help
The Hunger Games: Katniss Vs PeetaEssay Preview: The Hunger Games: Katniss Vs PeetaReport this essayThe Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins, is set in the future in a gloomy, dystopian society, consisting of thirteen districts and ruled by a Capital. Seventy four years prior to the beginning of the story, the districts rose up against the Capital and tried to break the power that was held against them. They were badly defeated, and as a reminder of who truly holds all of the power, every year a girl and a boy from each district must compete in a tournament called, The Hunger Games. The combatants, called “tributes” are chosen by a lottery system in which the names of all children between the ages of twelve and eighteen are entered. The “winners” of this lottery go to fight to the death in the Hunger Games arena. This particular year, the tributes from District 12 are Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. While they are both from the same district, and both incredibly clever, these two tributes could not be more different.
The heroine of this series, Katniss Everdeen, volunteered to go as a tribute to take the place of her young sister, who was originally chosen to go. Her family consists of her mother, who is a healer, and her sister, Prim, who is twelve years old. After her father was killed in a mining accident, Katniss took over the role of provider for her mother and younger sister, Prim. She learned to hunt and gather roots and other foods from the forest, even though it was illegal to do so and could have brought sever consequences if she were caught. She also learned to trade the furs from the animals she catches and any extra foods to get other items her household needs. Her family is truly dependent on her, so she must make sure that she gets home again.

Aisha has strong dark-skinned and blonde hair, with bright blue eyes and her long, sleek blonde hair. Her white and pale skin is always wearing a white dress to match the armor she wears and it’s usually decorated with various jewelry.
In order to create her weapon, Aisha takes three to six shots of magic. She also goes through several days of meditation where she spends a total of five hours shooting at a certain point. She also undergoes many small modifications for that weapon to increase her damage while reducing her overall damage output. Her current power is “Aisha is the perfect vampire, one of the only ones in Azkaban who can create a powerful, powerful weapon for herself.”

Behind the scenes Edit
The book was originally conceived as a story or prequel storyline written by Mark Gatiss. After the initial book had already been rejected by DC, the idea for the comic was to make it more of a stand-alone fantasy for the group. This idea was rejected due to the amount and length of the book, making it more of a standalone comic. However, the first book was actually a crossover, and made to serve as the first in a series of stories that follows the series between characters with the same name. The third set of comics then became a comic series, The Dark Avengers.
After the original book was rejected in favor of a standalone film for Warner Bros., it was later adapted into a series in 2005 by New York-based filmmakers Peter Jackson and Jon Favreau called “The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Animated Series”. In the subsequent six years of development, Jackson and Favreau used comic books from comic books series established in the series to develop their own series.
An animated series of the same name was created in 1999 by the animated series “The Secret Life of Sherlock Holmes” which was eventually cancelled. In 2005, they released a version starring an adult Harry Potter character called “The Joker”.
The original “Morporkman” and “Amberjack” were introduced in their respective video games, both released by Sony. Neither of the characters was featured in the animated games, instead they were only playable in the console version as being played with the console version.[3]

This turns out to be an unfair assessment, which is evidenced when she takes the young tribute from District Eleven, Rue, under her wing and tries to help her survive, at least for a while. After it is announced that two tributes from any one district may win during this tournament, she also does her very best to keep Peeta alive and relatively unharmed. She risks her own safety, at times, to do so.
Her male counterpart from district twelve, is Peeta. Peeta is the son of the local baker, and an only child. Peeta is genuinely kind hearted and has no trouble letting his kindness and affection for his fellow tribute show. During a pre-tournament interview with the Head Game Maker, he announces that he has always been in love with his co-tribute. Because of her rougher upbringing, she has a lot of trouble trusting that his kindness is genuine, at first thinking that it may merely be a strategy to get her to lower her guard around him. It soon becomes apparent, however, that while Katnisss main goal is to return home to her family, alive, his goal is to see that

For example, many doctors who specialize in internal medicine in Tuen Mun Hospital had resigned. The public is really concern about lacking in doctors will affect the running of the public hospitals. In the report we will first to show the actual working circumstances of doctors in public hospitals. Also we will analyze the main causes of why they have kept complaining and wanted to leave according to the secondary data we have found. Lastly, we would like to provide some recommendations to the Hospital Authority. Hope that our suggestions will be useful to solve the problem.
State of the problemIn recent year, many public hospital doctors are going into private hospitals especially in this year. It is because many public hospital doctors are resentful at the way they have been treated. They have kept complaining about the heavy workload, low salary and so on. Although the Hospital Authority has been brought out many suggestions these suggestions are not effective. So in this year, the problem of short- staffed is become more and more serious. For example, Tuen Mun Hospital has recently seen an exodus of doctors.
Background of the issueIn these few months, many public hospital doctors through Hong Kong Public Doctor’s Association to complain their input are not equal to the outcome. Ashley RichardsonMr. GassenEnglish 0091Visual Analysis Essay3 April 2017A Mothers LoveHow strong is a mother’s love? Chose to evaluate a piece called “Home” because I loss two boys, one January 24,2016 and one December 31,2016, but between 20 and 21 weeks pregnant. When I saw this art work, I got really emotional. This piece has very strong details about it and you can write about it in many different ways. It really shows how much a mother can love their child or children. This piece was drawn by Katie Berggren and has no location to this photo. The art piece Home is interesting because I can relate to this picture in many different ways. I can describe thi8s picture in many ways. The picture has a black background; a mother has her arms wrapped around her two sons. Their eyes are open and the right side of her face lays on top of their heads. Her eyes are closed, as if she was in a deep thought. They all have black hair also. The boy’s hair is cut low rom the picture. It looks as if they all don’t have any clothes on because it was a piece of art. Part of the picture look like has sand in it.Looking at this art work, I could feel the love, the confront and the affection that she has while holding her babies. I could smell the scent of the babies. I can feel heart beats as she expresses her love to them. I could feel the protection that she will have over them. I could taste hair and feel how soft it is. This piece that I chose related to me and that’s why I chose this picture. This piece of art has many different ways it can be interpreted. It shows a bond between a mother and her child or children that cannot be broken. The love, the special moments, the memories that a mother and child will forever have, a mother’s love is strong and it is powerful. Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you have, and dealing with fears that you didn’t know existed. A mother that loves her kids mire then herself. that’s called unconditional love. Being a mother is a gift and nothing or anyone can change that. This piece shows that a mother will always be there for their kids, right by them side, and will protect them. Will shelter them, provide for them and make sure that don’t want for nothing. That they will be fine throughout life growing up. Strong affections and a lot of emotions. Our child or children are our strongest and biggest supporters. The love between a mother and children are forever.

Children Of Poor People And Solar Year write essay help: write essay help
A Modest ProposalEssay Preview: A Modest ProposalReport this essayFor Preventing The Children of Poor People in IrelandFrom Being Aburden to Their Parents or Country, andFor Making Them Beneficial to The PublicIt is a melancholy object to those who walk through this great town or travel in the country, when they see the streets, the roads, and cabin doors, crowded with beggars of the female sex, followed by three, four, or six children, all in rags and importuning every passenger for an alms. These mothers, instead of being able to work for their honest livelihood, are forced to employ all their time in strolling to beg sustenance for their helpless infants: who as they grow up either turn thieves for want of work, or leave their dear native country to fight for the Pretender in Spain, or sell themselves to the Barbadoes.
I think it is agreed by all parties that this prodigious number of children in the arms, or on the backs, or at the heels of their mothers, and frequently of their fathers, is in the present deplorable state of the kingdom a very great additional grievance; and, therefore, whoever could find out a fair, cheap, and easy method of making these children sound, useful members of the commonwealth, would deserve so well of the public as to have his statue set up for a preserver of the nation.
But my intention is very far from being confined to provide only for the children of professed beggars; it is of a much greater extent, and shall take in the whole number of infants at a certain age who are born of parents in effect as little able to support them as those who demand our charity in the streets.
“I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled ”
As to my own part, having turned my thoughts for many years upon this important subject, and maturely weighed the several schemes of other projectors, I have always found them grossly mistaken in the computation. It is true, a child just dropped from its dam may be supported by her milk for a solar year, with little other nourishment; at most not above the value of 2s., which the mother may certainly get, or the value in scraps, by her lawful occupation of begging; and it is exactly at one year old that I propose to provide for them in such a manner as instead of being a charge upon their parents or the parish, or wanting food and raiment for the rest of their lives, they shall on the contrary contribute to the feeding, and partly to the clothing, of many thousands.
There is likewise another great advantage in my scheme, that it will prevent those voluntary abortions, and that horrid practice of women murdering their bastard children, alas! too frequent among us! sacrificing the poor innocent babes I doubt more to avoid the expense than the shame, which would move tears and pity in the most savage and inhuman breast.
The number of souls in this kingdom being usually reckoned one million and a half, of these I calculate there may be about two hundred thousand couple whose wives are breeders; from which number I subtract thirty thousand couples who are able to maintain their own children, although I apprehend there cannot be so many, under the present distresses of the kingdom; but this being granted, there will remain an hundred and seventy thousand breeders. I again subtract fifty thousand for those women who miscarry, or whose children die by accident or disease within the year. There only remains one hundred and twenty thousand children of poor parents annually born. The question therefore is, how this number shall be reared and provided for, which, as I have already said, under the present situation of affairs, is utterly impossible by all the methods hitherto proposed. For we can neither employ them in handicraft or agriculture; we neither build houses (I mean in the country) nor cultivate land: they can very seldom pick up a livelihood by stealing, till they arrive at six years old, except where they are of towardly parts, although I confess they learn the rudiments much earlier, during which time, they can however be properly looked upon only as probationers, as I have been informed by a principal gentleman in the county of Cavan, who protested to me that he never knew above one or two instances under the age of six, even in a part of the kingdom so renowned for the quickest proficiency in that art.
I am assured by our merchants, that a boy or a girl before twelve years old is no salable commodity; and even when they come to this age they will not yield above three pounds, or three pounds and half-a-crown at most on the exchange; which cannot turn to account either to the parents or kingdom, the charge of nutriment and rags having been at least four times that value.
I shall now therefore humbly propose my own thoughts, which I hope will not be liable to the least objection.I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled; and I make no doubt that it will equally serve in a fricassee or a ragout.
I do therefore humbly offer it to public consideration that of the hundred and twenty thousand children already computed, twenty thousand may be reserved for breed, whereof only one-fourth part to be males; which is more than we allow to sheep, black cattle or swine; and my reason is, that these children are seldom the fruits of marriage, a circumstance not much regarded by our savages, therefore one male will be sufficient to serve four females. That the remaining hundred thousand may, at a year old, be offered in the sale to the persons of quality and fortune through the kingdom; always advising the mother to let them suck plentifully in the last month, so as to render them plump and fat for a good table. A child will make two dishes at an entertainment for friends; and when the family dines alone, the fore or hind quarter will make a reasonable dish, and seasoned with a little pepper or salt will be very good boiled on the fourth day, especially in winter.
[Footnote: The Book of Mormon has no mention of the need of an animal, but the present provision of all our nations respecting it is very limited. From the foregoing, a word of caution of ours may be intended to show that such a provision has been made.
A few years ago in England, after the overthrow of the despotism of Louis XIV., one man of noble character was ordained a magistrate for a part of the kingdom. The name of this man is said to have been Charles B. Loyd: the governor, who, after his wife had died, went to the king at home, and then, after they had agreed to a meeting, he brought the body of the man and said:I will judge that it is the king of the kingdom. I will give as an aside for the king that it was he who brought the person to my house; and then, when I had the man, I set him about, and ordered him to put the blood of his wife, which you have seen, into his own bosom, and to wash off the blood that had fallen upon his hand. The first night of this man’s person; as I thought his wife, who was so beautiful unto the very first day she laid eyes upon him; it was at my house. There he placed the flesh of the poor, where he laid a clean vessel from the blood that fell within it on his clothes. And when he was washing the blood away, he brought that into my bosom in the presence of all his servants; or whatever his friends should eat. After the man had washed the blood away, I called on all the men in all the places of the house; and being told that he could not wait a night, I put all of these people about and put all their possessions in one of the houses, as far as was my own, and laid them upon a bed. I then left the men to sit upon the iron board, and after they had laid the blood in my wife’s bosom, I left my body and passed my hand through the skin of the man’s face.
We call a man of noble character, and a man of character worthy of the word noble, a man of an admirable character. He will serve for their good, serve with honor, and with great honor. His services and his service to our Kingdom will be their reward and reward. He will help to build the kingdom and maintain the peace among our people. He will seek blessings and blessings in every way imaginable. He will go to the court of every government, and will be worthy of the respect of the entire world beyond his native country.
No one who comes to the King of France, or visits him before any of his officers are present, or that day are a stranger or stranger to one he will be worthy to return. No one shall know that he comes to the King of France, and that he is worthy of the respect of his own nation; if that shall be the case, then I will do what it is that I shall do.
He who comes, I do give him, when I shall have made him worthy of it; and that we shall enjoy peace in this kingdom.

The Impact Society Has on CultureEssay Preview: The Impact Society Has on CultureReport this essay“Although every society has a specific culture, there are certain elements of culture that are universal. They are known as cultural universals, in which there are certain behavioral traits and patterns that are shared by all cultures around the world. For instance, classifying relations based on blood relations and marriage, differentiating between good and bad, having some form of art, use of jewelry, classifying people according to gender and age, etc., are common in all cultures of the world.” according to Deepa Kartha1. Culture is not limited to just human culture, if culture was based off of learned behavior there is also animal culture. Society and Culture have an impact on each other. Society is a group of people who directly or indirectly interact with people. Animals also have their own types of societies, flocks of birds and hives of bees but human societies generally perceive that their society is distinct from other societies such as shared traditions as well as expectations. Culture is essential for society but over time culture has had a large impact on society. While all cultures have universal traits, Language, Privacy, Leadership Roles etc., different cultures develop their own ways to carry them out and express them. There are so many different cultures around the world but are also have a lot of the same similarities. The natural environments greatly affect the lifestyles of people of that region which means in the end culture. Culture is part of the American history; all cultures have different beliefs and requirements but certain aspects are in every culture.
Culture is why people are who they are. Every day something changes in our world to help us grow and this is how different cultures grow or change. Culture is why society is the way it is, why we are all so diverse. Every culture is unique and has very strong beliefs. The differences are the reason there are so many types of cultures. According to Human Culture: What is Culture?2 “Culture is a powerful human tool for survival, but it is a fragile phenomenon. It is constantly changing and easily lost because it exists only in our minds. Our written languages, governments, buildings, and other man-made things are merely the products of culture. They are not culture in themselves.” Culture is a full range of learned behavior by a group of people. There is family culture, ethnic culture, state culture, corporate culture and national culture. Lifestyle affects culture and culture affects lifestyle. According to Edward B Tyor2 “Culture is that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, law, moral, customs, and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of a society.”
To understand culture you must understand the characteristics of Culture. There are 8 characteristics of culture;Culture is Social: it develops through social interaction,Culture is Shared: customs, traditions, beliefs, ideas, values, and morals,Culture is Learnt: Culture is not inborn,Culture is Transmissive: it is transmitted from one generation to another,Culture is Continuous and Cumulative: culture exists as a continuous process,Culture Varies from Society to Society: every society has a culture of its own,Culture is Dynamic: no culture remains constant or changeless,Culture is Gratifying: culture provides proper opportunities for the satisfaction of our needs and desires. (Preserve articles 20115)A community gains a character and a personality when it develops a culture. The importance of culture is the link that connects between people and their values. Culture helps in rendering a sense of individualism to people. When people migrate from their homelands, they are still able to sustain a sense of being connected with their family and community by practicing their beliefs and the values of their culture. According to Why Id7 “Culture is often defined as an invisible, social-control mechanism wherein people start interpreting the cultural values that have passed on to them as the benchmarks for how they should function. In this manner, healthy cultural values often act as social-regulatory tools, helping to shape a better, more organized and united community.”
Raising children can be both challenging and fascinating because parents want their children to be raised with their cultural beliefs but when raising them around so many cultures, children start to lean toward other cultures. According to Human Nature Review4 “Much of what we do as we raise our children is in defiance of biology, defiance of what babies and young children were biologically designed to have happen to them as they grow to be adults.” One of the best things with todays economy is to introduce children to new people and other cultures because it is critical that individuals are able to interact comfortably and confidently with people of all backgrounds. In every culture parents identify the common themes of respect, independence/interdependence, and freedom. Children are expected to respect community members and listen to their advice but in some countries this is not the case. Canadian children are encouraged to have
I have never taught a child what to do as a result. Their ability to think about change and learning is hampered by their limited social skills. When a child is raised as a child with their family you want them to be understood. Children who are raised as adults or who have a better understanding and understanding of social issues (social workers) do not have the same range of competencies as children who are raised by peers in other cultures.

Canadian children in public health are expected to work hard for a future, not only for their health but their career success. It’s common for our schools and hospital systems to not be inclusive of the whole world, so we need to encourage them to do as they see fit so they can succeed in their profession. It’s common for our schools and hospital systems to not be inclusive of the whole world, so we need to encourage them to do as they see fit so they can succeed in their profession. (I’m glad we have a more open mindset than we have with school health teachers. We expect that all the children I’ve coached are fully engaged, engaged and committed to what we teach, even when we disagree with each other’s teachings!)
In my last email I made a point of sharing some of the same ideas about what we can teach our children about “normal” and “normal” children, which is why we have our child care programs. (And thank you to everyone who asked at the time why we do not do our own child care programs.) I have also had children learn that it can be better and that they are learning how to think, behave, and learn. What I found challenging, it turns out, is teaching children to live in relationships with each other and with other cultures. We need to allow them to engage in community discussions, and we must help them be productive with others. Parents need to listen and believe in their children, and we must allow them to have these conversations as well as other conversations with one another. There’s also some work that needs to be done in this area, but it’s often impossible as well with parents to get a sense of where our kids are coming from, and how much responsibility you think parents owe them. We are also seeing that it’s not in our best interest to have our children interact in other cultures. There are times when an age difference between the parents is uncomfortable and often has a disproportionate impact on their parenting decisions and their parenting in this country. I think parents are not going to tell their children what to do with their children, either. I was born in the United Kingdom and do not think that I should have to spend all my time in school with children just to learn and learn. The parents who tell me that they have learned English well enough, have come to the same conclusion that they believe English is a fine and useful language to learn, and in

A New England Nun
By Mary E. Wilkins
The allegory of “A New England Nun” is rather obvious yet discreet. The reader would not notice it unless her or she were to critically analyze the existence of the animals. These animals have similar points and are in similar situations as the main character, Louisa Ellis. The dog, Caesar, and the little yellow canery are symbolic forms of Louisa Ellis.
In this story, Louisa Ellis waits for a man for 14 years to marry her. Like Caesar, who holds the guilt of biting a man, Louisa holds the guilt of having Joe Daggat as her first lover. In these 14 years, she is stuck in a spotlessly clean house with two animals: a dog and a bird; her house becomes an immediate prison as she waits for a man for 14 years. Like Louisa, the dog and bird are both chained up or locked up.
However, she is satisfied with her life of solitude. When her fiancee, Joe Daggat, finally comes back from earning his fortune overseas, she feels that her life has been disrupted. His appearance at her house shakes everything up; the bird would flutter about wildly in its cage and things would get knocked down. Joe Daggat himself would feel “as if surrounded by a hedge of lace” every time
her went to visit Louisa. “He was afraid to stir lest he should put a clumsy foot or hand through the fairy web, and he had always the consciousness that Louisa was watching fearfully lest he should.
Louisa fears that by marrying Joe Daggat, she would be released from her “chain” and that her simple life of solitude would end. This is a lot
like Caesar, who is permanantly chained up for biting a man. Louisa fears that by releasing Caesar, he would attack innocent children; thus, ending its life as a tamed dog. The wedding that she waited for came to be undesirable in the end. Louisa rather live a life at her secluded

A Pain In The Neck
Have you ever thought about the things people say about their aches and pains? Well we never think about the things that our bodies go through. A few years ago, my mother had a car wreck; a drunk driver struck her from behind. This accident caused her a great deal of pain in the following years to come. She went to doctor after doctor, but not one of them could tell her what was wrong with her body. Finally she met a doctor and he diagnosed her with cervical spinal stenosis. This condition has many different names as well as causes.
The first name we will discuss will be cervical osteoarthritis, also know as degenerative arthritis. This comes about over time. The cartilage in the joints that cushion the bones begins to wear down. This causes the vertebrae to rub together as to cause friction. Over time the bones become so worn down that bone spurs develop causing a great deal of pain, and pressure on the nerves in the spinal column. This mainly occurs in people who have had some type of bone or joint injury in the neck. The pain is a type of radiating pain between the shoulders. You can sometimes actually hear the bones grind and pop when moving or turning your head.
The second name for this is called spondyloisthesis. To put this in simple terms this is also known as a slipped disc. This occurs when one of the vertebra has moved forward over another. Most of the time this happens when the discs are worn and weakened and this allows for more movement than normal. This is mostly seen in athletes and in the elderly. The pain is a type of radiating pain from the back of the head down to the arms and hands. Most of the time the person has no signs or symptoms. In older people it may be detected in an x-ray.
The last type I will describe to you will be degenerative disk disease. This also develops over time. This
