Nursing Assignment Help Based on your program option (i.e., nurse practitioner, nurse educator, nurse administration), answer these questions in an initial post. (Use the online resources available to you in the APA Legal Formatting Resources and Online Legal Resources module to support your initial post.) Please cite all relevant legal and ethical sources throughout your post. Respond to two (2) classmates.
What are your legal responsibilities regarding the care of patients? Did you find any laws that outline or guide your responsibilities?
Did you find any proposed legislation (state or federal) that would impact your specialty? If so, please briefly explain the bill and the positive/negative impact it could make.
As you are forming a legal question/topic for the scholarly paper, what resources do you find helpful in locating information around your topic

Ressources
This list of websites (and links to those sites) may helpful at throughout the course. These websites contain valuable information for use when preparing your work in this course. There are many other sites and sources “out there” which contain valid, reliable information, but as the elderly Crusader said to Indiana Jones, “Choose wisely.”
Agency for Health Care Policy

leadership management more detail below

How does a nurse, faced with a clinical practice problem, begin the process of quality improvement? Hopp and Rittenmeyer (2021) indicate that armed with data, nurses use the best available literature to guide practice guidelines. Have you looked at the policies on the unit you work? Who writes and reviews them? Are there references to the literature noted on the policy? Does your organization have a shared governance committee where nurses can present clinical practice problems and collaboratively work to improve patient care?
Your assignment this week will spark your curiosity about how nurses spur change. You are probably aware of items at work that you would like to review. Nurse leaders initiate quality improvement initiatives. This week, we are asking you to think about system change.
Directions: You will write a 1-3 page document in APA format addressing each point (1-4).
1. Your assignment this week asks that you describe a current clinical practice problem within a health care work environment. Please write a paragraph about the problem.
2. Once you identify the problem, you are asked to develop a PICO question to narrow and specify your problem. The PICO question will guide your search for the best available evidence. Here’s some helpful hints…
**Please review the Presentation on EBP Questions and Search Strategy (29:00) and the information found under the ‘Evidence-based practice’ tab of the course Library Guide for additional information on PICO question writing and levels of evidence. The Worksheet to assist in creating a PICO question and search strategy does not have to be submitted. This is only for assistance in creating the PICO.
How do you write an appropriate question? The PICO elements needed for a good research question are:
P- population: be specific about that population. As an example, if you are interested in hospitalized patients with COVID, be more specific about the specific population. Perhaps you are interested in hospitalized patients with COVID requiring respiratory support. How will you describe the population…adults with type I diabetes…5th grade boys…newborns in the NICU?
I- intervention- be specific about the intervention your population receives. You will be searching for the highest level of evidence in the literature. Questions to consider: Remember, you are not doing a research project. Instead, you are trying to find the best available evidence to support a change in practice? Another thing to think about – is this a nurse mediated intervention? Practice changes that involve other stakeholders (doctors, respiratory therapists, pharmacy techs) would require them to be at the table.
C-comparison Who is your comparison group? Did half the group in the study receive the intervention and the other half did not? The literature will tell you the answer.
O- outcome what outcome do you want to measure? Ex. adherence to hand hygiene policy
Here is an example of a well-written PICO question: What is the effectiveness of offering mandatory training sessions (I) compared to posting signs in the hospital (C) on improving adherence to the hospital hand hygiene protocol (O) among nurses in the ICU (P)?
3. Search for a minimum of three (maximum of five) research (scholarly) articles published within the last 10 years that relate to the chosen clinical practice. Note: Focus on higher levels of evidence whenever available. Please use APA format to reference each article at the end of your assignment.
4. Use the articles in step 3 (above) to summarize and synthesize the evidence as it relates to your question.
a. Summarizing your article means that you are articulating general findings in your own words for each of the three (3) articles cited on your reference list.
b. Synthesizing, then, is applying the findings to the clinical problem you have identified in step 1.
