For Option 1, select a company or your favorite brand. After identifying all of its social media profiles, download data analytics about the online presence of the organization. You can use some of the following tools (and others) to download digital information regarding social media profiles:

After downloading all possible data, check and analyze each data file to assess the effectiveness the company’s social media communications and to identify their main messages. For example, you can perform a content analysis or create a word cloud from the social media text data, while the data from Facebook or Instagram can be used in a correlation analysis.
Then, write a paper that presents information on all the steps followed and your findings from the data analysis. Include one visual that summarizes the key findings of your analysis. Based on these findings, formulate recommendations on how this business can improve its marketing strategy in the future. These recommendations should take into consideration ethical and legal aspects of digital data in a global economy. Your paper must be structured with the following headings:

Last week Unit 2, you completed the Company Overview. This week for Unit 3, you will complete the second page of the Marketing Plan Outline using the template. Please note that this is an outline with summary sections and not a paper. The section this week focuses on two critical parts of the Marketing Mix – Product and Price.
Use the Scenario below:
Review the product offerings of the company selected in Unit 2. This is the marketing mix of the company. Using the product mix make assumptions on pricing and product offerings to address the following items:
Does the company offer products or services? Or both?
Describe the products/services offered by this company.
Discuss brand strengths, including logo recognition and brand equity.
What do you know about the company’s pricing strategy? Does it appeal to price only or quality buyers?
Describe how you would approach a pricing strategy for this company.
Determine if the company’s pricing strategy seems effective based on the information you reviewed.
Remember, next week in Unit 4. You will combine your work from Unit 2 and 3 with Unit 4, your Marketing Plan Outline.
