Facts:

2. The style of music each or both composers pursued. Styles can be up to your personal discretion, such as, a level of intensity, different forms of music used by composers, and so on.
3. Your emotional outcome BEFORE, DURING and AFTER you listen to Mozart and Beethoven. For example, the status of your feeling and emotion and expectation of what music will be like before you hear the music, and the content of your emotion as you listen to the music and the final (possibly changed) emotion of your own after the piece of music is heard and finished.

Most often associated with academic-oriented literature, such reviews are found in academic journals, and are not to be confused with book reviews that may also appear in the same publication. Literature reviews are a basis for research in nearly every academic field. 2 A narrow-scope literature review may be included as part of a peer-reviewed journal article presenting new research, serving to situate the current study within the body of the relevant literature and to provide context for the reader. In such a case, the review usually precedes the methodology and results sections of the work.

Part 1- Research and write out the current weather conditions
Using the data you find, make a forecast for the next three days as to what will occur using the terms: a). Wind Speed, b). Wind direction, c). Relative humidity, d). Atmospheric pressure, e). Location of nearest High and Low Pressure cells, f). Possible weather events (rain, thunderstorm, lightning or any other events). This report needs to be detailed, accurate and use the terminology from the textbook to discuss the current and possible weather over the three-day period. You don’t have to predict the weather correctly, but you need to use the terms correctly in your prediction. If you don’t want to upload the video to YouTube, upload the video file to Canvas in your submission if its possible (file size may restrict some videos and YouTube may be required if that occurs).
Part 2- Now use this information you’ve gathered to made a presentation of the weather forecast like a weather reporter on television would make to discuss the current conditions and your prediction for the next three days based on the terms: a). Wind Speed, b). Wind direction, c). Relative humidity, d). Atmospheric pressure, e). Location of nearest High and Low Pressure cells, f). Possible weather events (rain, thunderstorm, lightning or any other events). Post your video to YouTube (you can make it private if you would prefer) and paste the link to the video in your report.
A literature review is a section of a paper that goes over the major sources con online essay helpA literature review is a section of a paper that goes over the major sources consulted and their overall contribution to the topic you are writing about. In other words, this is a piece of writing in which the author goes over the conversation that was taking place before the author joined in. Since the goal of a literature review is to synthesis an entire conversation across multiple sources, it can be rather tricky to write one of these In order to help you write the literature review for your topic, we’ll be taking this week as an opportunity to practice.
There are three parts to this discussion, and I recommend giving yourself enough time to work your way through all three parts.
Part One:
First off, please reread pages 145-8 and 212-3 in our textbook for examples of literature reviews, and read the example paper of a student’s literature review, which you can find here.Download which you can find here. After you have done so, please answer these questions:
1. Judging by the two professional examples, what is the goal of a literature review? Does the student example seem to be fulfilling this function?
2. What do you notice about the way this student is using sources? Is the student in control, or are the sources in control?
3. Would you say the sources are in conversation with one another in here? Why or why not?
Part Two:
After reading through this student’s literature review, now is a good time to make an attempt at writing a paragraph of your own review. To begin, let’s try the source Dinner Party, which is a tool you can use to visualize what your literature review will look like. For this part, please upload your own source dinner party as a file upload to your post. You can find an example of what a completed source dinner party looks like here: sourcedinnerpartyexample.jpeg
Below are the steps to making one:
1. First, identify how many subtopics you are working with in your own topic (identify at least three or four subtopics). For each one, draw a circle and place your subtopic’s name inside each one. These are the tables for our sources.
2. Next, take all of your relevant sources and either identify them by name or create a shorthand for them (such as numbers). Place each source on a table for a subtopic that it goes over. In addition, this is a magical dinner party, and as a result, each source can sit on multiple tables at once, as long as it has something to say on those tables.
3. If you so desire, you can even seat sources by their agreement to other sources on the same table. If you notice that two or more sources are in agreement on a table, place them on one side to represent that agreement. If you have two sources that disagree, seat them on opposite ends, and make a line that goes through the table to represent this.
Part Three:
Now that you have a source dinner party in front of you, you are ready for the next step. Look at the tables you placed your sources on, and select one table to work with. With the conversation that is represented on that table, as well as with the example literature review you have read earlier in mind, make an attempt at writing a paragraph within your literature review. Remember to place your sources in conversation with one another, and to also provide an analysis on what their conversations mean in regard to the whole topic. Here are a few example transitions you can use to draw connections between sources:
“Moretti expands on what Jason had to say on this by adding…”
“Gregory, however, disagrees with Allison’s stance and writes that…”
“In addition, Weeks adds that…”
“Ballinger and Anderson are both in agreement on [topic], and Clark agrees with much it it, but also adds that…”

What is satire?
What is Delacroix’ pitch to Mr. Dunwitty? (25 minutes in)?
What is Dunwitty’s response?
What is the look on Sloan’s face and ‘Sleep n’ Eat’ and ‘Mantan’s’ face tell you about what is going on in this scene? Dunwitty asks “who wants to be politically correct these days”?
This movie was made in 2000 and bombed at the cinema. Why? It’s ok to do a little research!
In the scene where Delacroix is having his first meeting with the writers on the crew-how does the discussion about diversity go? Have you ever heard similar conversations in the public sphere before, perhaps about professors at your university or teachers in your schools, or engineers at the workplace, etc? Bearing in mind the goals of satire, what is the purpose of this scene?
If at some point while watching this movie, you feel uncomfortable-can you identify why? Try to say what scene it was and reflect on whether the movie is achieving its ends-according to the goal that Delacroix told Sloan. What is the image that Delacroix has on his computer when he gets the call from Dunwitty that the network brass “loved” the pilot. How does Delacroix react to the “good” news? Why?
Introduction
Business analytics techniques are used to facilitate decision makin essay help freeIntroduction
Business analytics techniques are used to facilitate decision making by transforming large amounts of raw data into meaningful information. Many businesses rely on analysis of relevant historical data to make key strategic and operational decisions with the goal of gaining or maintaining competitive advantage.
Therefore, understanding how to use techniques such as graphical representation and descriptive statistics to translate raw data into useful information can be a valuable skill in an organization.
In this assignment and the next, you will have the opportunity to sharpen your analytics skills by locating and interpreting real-life stock data, creating a business report, and presenting the information from the business report with your supervisor and colleagues as part of a decision-making effort.
Scenario
You are a member of a business analyst group interested in a publicly traded company. Your supervisor has asked you to create a presentation including graphical representations from raw stock data.
From that raw stock data, you are to create a business report for a company-wide meeting at the end of the quarter. Your work and the work of others will result in a Business Report that will be utilized to help company leadership make decisions.
Your Role
Your first task is to pick a publicly held company with only one business platform. So do not pick Apple, Amazon, Disney, et cetera. You want a company that plays in only one industry. Then you are to provide an overview of the company, including business context, as noted in Unit 4 Planning Ahead area. Remember business context includes many aspects of the company, industry, competition, et cetera.
The second task is prepping stock history data from the business/company and creating scatterplots and histograms.
The third task is to calculate mean, median, mode, and standard deviation of the adjusted daily closing stock price and the stock volume.
The fourth task is to provide a summary of the information you provide (including data analysis) without bias and with factual information including citations.
It is your responsibility to present visually and to interpret the data into meaningful information using analysis and descriptive statistics.
Instructions
Select a publicly traded business/stock that plays in only one industry in which you have interest. Download the raw data on the company’s stock history.
Follow these steps to locate and download stock history from Yahoo! Finance:
Go to Yahoo! Finance website, linked in the resources.
Search for and find the stock information of the company you have chosen. Remember: Do not use a company that plays in multiple industries.
Once you pull up the general data on the company, review the screen links throughout until you find the link for Historical Data. Click on the Historical Data link. Then select the following settings above the table:
Select Time Period of one year.
Select “Historical Prices.”
Select Frequency as “Daily.”
Click Apply.
Click Download Data. Go to the bottom of your screen or your Downloads folder to open the Excel file you just downloaded. Open the Excel file. Check to be sure that you have enough lines to show the whole year. If not, reset the settings at the top of the Historical Data chart and try again.
Once you are sure that you have a year’s worth of data, save the Excel file.
Using the Excel file with the year’s stock data, conduct descriptive analysis as follows:
Create a scatterplot of the highest stock price (in the column labeled “High”) against time. Write several sentences explaining the process/steps by which you created this graph.
Create a scatterplot of the lowest stock price (in the column labeled “Low”) against time. Write several sentences explaining the process/steps by which you created this graph.
Create a histogram of the adjusted daily closing stock price (in the column labeled “Adj Close”). Make sure the histogram is meaningful by adjusting the bin size so you can see the shape of the histogram. Write several sentences explaining the process/steps by which you created this graph.
Create a histogram of the stock trading volume (in the column labeled “Volume”). Make sure the histogram is meaningful by adjusting the bin size so you can see the shape of the histogram. Write several sentences explaining the process/steps by which you created each graph.
For each of the four graphs:
Make sure the x and y axis have appropriate labels. For example, “Stock Price in USD” or “Date D/M/Y.”
Change the title of the graph to communicate what the graph is communicating.
Add options—color, trendlines, legend, other?
Calculate the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation of the adjusted daily closing stock price.
Put answers of calculations in table format for easy review.
Write several sentences explaining the process by which you calculated these statistics.
Calculate the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation of the stock volume. Put in table format for easy review. Write a sentence explaining the process by which you calculated these statistics.
Prepare a 4–5 page report that you would present to your supervisor, including the following:
An APA-formatted title page.
A 1–2 page introduction describing the background of your chosen company and its practical extensive business context. You should use at least four sources of information on the company, industries the company participates in, history, mission, platforms, products, competitive advantage, and competitors by industry.
A section labeled Graphical Representations of Data, in which you include the four graphs you created above and short descriptions of the process you used to create each graph.
A section labeled Descriptive Statistics, in which you include the statistics you calculated above and explanation of the procedures you followed to calculate the statistics.
A summary of what the data suggest. No opinion please. See textbook information on how to interpret data. Please remain unbiased in your summary. You may use additional resources (and cite) to help you interpret the data. For example: What does Standard Deviation say about stock volatility?
Your paper should be APA-formatted with in-text citations and a corresponding references page. Remember to cite the sources of your financial data. Include at least four sources of information for your page and reflect on reference page.
Walkthrough: You may view the Using Analytic Techniques to Add Meaning to Data Walkthrough, linked in the resources, to help you understand concepts addressed in this assignment.
Additional Requirements
Length: 4–5 double-spaced pages. Include a title page and the graphical representations of the data selected.
Written communication: Written communication should be free of errors that detract from the overall message.

Profile an artist of particular interest to you. It could be someone just breaki college application essay helpProfile an artist of particular interest to you. It could be someone just breaking through, perhaps just outside the mainstream, who is especially innovative, singular, original. It could also be on an artist who has faded from fame but is still producing notable work. Try to avoid artists who are already major household names (The Rock, Beyonce, Jimmy Fallon). Inform us about someone slightly below the radar, someone we should know more about. Please try to pick an artist outside of film and TV, artists in areas we have not yet explored, like a dancer, a visual artist, a poet or author, a stand up comic, a musician, an architect, a fashion designer, or even someone who may push the boundaries what constitutes art.
Consider the following structure for your profiles:
Start with a grabber: a clip or a quote or a story that captures the essence of the artist you are profiling.
Once you have our attention, summarize the key points you will be exploring about your subject. Touch on the essential contributions and innovations of your subject. Establish the scope of the profile, essentially its thesis and focus areas.
Provide the background and history of your subject. Be thorough.
Highlight your subject’s major moments and important works or breakthroughs. Be sure to discuss at least a couple of these at length.
What is your subject’s goals, objectives and/or mission? Why does your subject do what he/she does? Consider these questions:
• How is the artist unique? How has what they are doing, or what they have done, set them apart? How are they a breakthrough?
• What are the strategies used by the artists to engage the community?
• Who is their target audience? How are these strategies particular to the target audience?
